miengs: lol! Prior to these I had this. They worked, but not all the time...and like everything else that doesnt work all the time, they NEVER worked when I needed them too. I finally gave in and forked out the money to buy 3 Pocketwizards. I have yet to play with them but they have an impeccable reputation amongst professional photographers for never failing. Btw, if you haven't heard of Strobist.com yet, check them out. A ton of amazing information there...all for free too.

Kristen: Actually, I found your indirectly through Strobist! I read Get Rich Slowly, and JD(the author there) had a stock photo done by the guy who writes Strobist. I found Jason's blog about his two daughters there, and then I found you through Jason. I haven't ventured into any sort of lighting yet except for natural light. So, I take a lot of pictures outdoors or near windows! lol
