I’ve been working on designing logos for my humble photography business and it’s been a painful process.  

i am not good at designing.

why not pay someone you might ask?  well, honestly it’s because i’m not quite in the position to fund that type of investment, and i’m really more of a do-it-yourself’er so i sat down and tried to come up with the best designs i could.  however, i did make contact with some great designers that i will be patronizing once i have a budget for that sort of thing. until then, here’s a sample of all the ones i came up with, and finally the new logo i will be using:

those first ones were pretty bad. the last one is the one i like the most and will be using on my business cards and other brandable things (like…pictures!) it’s funny, when i started the design process i was scribbling on some napkins and that was actually one of the 1st ones i came up with.
